Sailor Moon Anime Review

~"In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" A phrase nobody will forget.~

                                            Sailor Moon Anime Review

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is Magical Girl, Romantic Comedy anime that is about a fourteen year old girl that goes by the name Usagi Tsukino (Serena Tsukino in the English Adaptions) when she one day encounters a black cat on her way to school (when she was late) with bandages on her forehead. When Usagi removes the cat's bandages, it reveals a golden crescent moon on the cats forehead, but instead of investigating, she sprints off to school after remembering she was late. Later that day, she encounters the black cat again, this time on her bed. The black cat starts to talk and reveals that her name is Luna and she explains how Usagi is a Sailor Scout and she fights for the moon kingdom against the Negaforce. As Usagi is hearing this, she believes none of this, so Luna gives her a brooch with a crescent moon on it and as Usagi Shouts the words "Moon Prism Power!" Usagi transforms into Sailor Moon. She encounters the Negaforce for the first time at her best friend Naru's (Molly in the English Adaption) Mother's jewelery store, where she fights and meets Jedite, a soldier for the Negaforce. She also meets Tuxedo Kamen (Tuxedo Mask in the English Adaption) which is a mysterious person who always saves Usagi. As the adventure unfolds, Usagi is accompanied by four other scouts, Ami Mizuno (Amy Mizuno in the English Adaption) as Sailor Mercury, Rei Hino (Raye Hino in the English Adaption) as Sailor Mars, Makoto Kino (Lita Kino in the English Adaption) as Sailor Jupiter, and Minako Aino (Mina Aino in the English Adaption) as Sailor Venus but who is also the popular hero, Sailor V, who is accompanied by a white cat by the name of Artimis. Not only these four, but there is the outer scouts. These nine sailor scouts battle to defend the White moon Kingdom and to find their moon princess. This five season long anime will inspire you to think of a Magical Girl anime.

~This is probably the most creative idea for a magical girl anime I've seen.~

Sailor Moon is the very second anime I've seen, and I just liked the idea so much, I probably remember the whole story of Sailor Moon. Through the two-hundred episodes of this anime, I adored all the characters personalities. However, like Ojamjo Doremi, Some parts of the anime got very repetitive. Also, one crucial negative I have towards this anime is that all the female characters look very similar to each other. I can admit that I mixed up the scouts a bit because they all looked so similar. But those two things don't take away much from this anime because this anime makes that up with their fantastic story line. I've would've never thought of warriors of the moon or a talking cat name Luna or anything. Naoko Takeuchi really did good on this anime. I thought this anime was so good that I even read the manga. Though I have to say, after reading the manga, the anime left out crucial details. Sailor Moon was a very memorable anime. Most creative I ever seen.

Ojamjo Doremi Anime Review

~I could really tell this show was targeted towards kids, but still enjoyable.~

                                             Ojamajo Doremi Anime Review

Ojamajo Doremi (English Adaption: Magical DoReMi) is five season long Magical Girl, Comedy, Somewhat romance (Knowing that the main character wishes for love) and also somewhat tragedy anime about a girl name Doremi Harukaze who one day encounters a Magic Shop and meets Majorika, Doremi accuses her for being a witch, and she turns into a magic frog. In order for Majorika to change back to normal, Doremi becomes a "Witchling" which is like a witch apprentice. Later on Doremi's friends, Hazuke Fujiwara and Aiko Seno, also become witchlings as well and as the story continues, Doremi soon has the goal to become a full fledged witch. Doremi and her friends meet new people on their adventures and face challenges on the road to becoming a witch.

Okay, that was not a good summary, so I apologize in advance if I got some information wrong to those who've watched this anime. This was the very First anime I've ever watched, so I don't remember the story as clearly.

So, what I liked about this anime a lot was the friendship between Doremi, Hazuki, and Aiko. One thing about this show is that it really does show the development between friendships, even through hard times. I also enjoyed the personalities of each character. However, I feel like the story of this anime gets somewhat repetitive in a way so in some parts of the anime I was un-interested. The really bad part about this anime is that it is VERY hard to find online, I think the furthest I got was halfway through the fourth season, because it got to the point where there was no English subtitles at all. Because of that, I had to stop. I, personally myself because I am good at drawing (not trying to brag or offend anybody), do not like the drawing style in this anime, HOWEVER, the drawing style matches the anime. This anime is good, but once you grow up and re-watch it, you'll realize that this anime is actually very kiddy (<--- Yes, I know that's not a word) but this anime is still enjoyable if you're looking for a heartwarming anime.
